Day 479 - Long Mynd - Shropshire
16 05 2020

After a long long time due to UK weather and the Covid-19 virus stopped all activities, I eventually got to fly after the UK Government lifted the lockdown somewhat.

Long Mynd it was on a strongish day for the first flight for months, maybe 7 months.

Take off was okay, the wind was strong, the thermals were broken, for me it was a little turbulent, I took a few collapses but it was ok, I flew for an hour and decided to land as I was not 100% enjoying the flight, sure it was great to get in the air, but probably due to lack of currency I was not 100% into it.  I managed some good flying, down to Black Knoll and back, pushing out in front of the Mynd etc. and gained some good height in the thermals but decided after an hour, I would call it a day.

Just a few pics below.

There is a Google Earth Tracklog of the flight available here
